About this Site
I created this site as a means of allowing residents in Knebworth to share their views about the emerging North Herts Local Plan efficiently. It occurred to me that it might easily be adapted to have a wider function. Currently, the site is Local Plan focussed, but anyone can create an account and create content here. If you are familiar with Wikipedia you should have no difficulties doing this, as it runs on the same MediaWiki software. Just click the little head and shoulders icon, currently in the top right corner, to access the account creation menu.
I have created a mailman mailing list, so people can collaborate via email. This seems slightly 1990's nowadays, but it means that people who don't 'do' social media are not excluded, so I would recommend that you join.

Report on a New Settlement for NHDC (large pdf) has been produced by ATLAS. This is a generic assessment of the types of new settlement that might be possible, compares the deliverability of these with the alternative approach taken by the Council.
